Short Biography

Sebastian is CIO at BMG, the music division of Bertelsmann, one of the world’s largest media companies. Founded in 2008, BMG is the world’s fourth-biggest music publisher and the first new global player in the record business in decades. Creating competitive advantage with its core values of fairness, transparency and service, BMG offers the traditionally separate music publishing and recording rights under one roof, as well as production music, films and books.

Sebastian oversees global technology at BMG, ranging from product management, software development and operations, data analytics, security, infrastructure and service delivery. He is also responsible for worldwide client royalty collection and accounting, income tracking and client services.
