Samir Jabari started his career as an anatomist in 2009. He soon realized that to understand healthy morphology one must know the unhealthy and vice versa. In 2015 he started pathology training and encountered deep learning. Fascinated he taught himself all the technical aspects he needed to know to be able to apply deep learning techniques to pathology related tasks. Unifying both worlds he founded the working group called “deep learning morphology” and switched to neuropathology in 2018.
