Short Biography

Matt came to the field of Data Science from a background in physical sciences, working on power plant design at General Electric for many years after finishing a doctorate in mechanical engineering. His entry into Big Data was in the monitoring of plant performance and building software models to interpret the instrument readings. Matt now develops algorithms for deriving audience insights from anonymized mobile network data at Telefónica NEXT.
