Dipl.-Stat. Katharina Schüller is a scholarship holder of the Bavarian EliteAcademy and the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, “Statistician of the Week” (American Statistical Association), “Vordenker” (Handelsblatt/BCG) and winner of the LaMonachia business award of the LH Munich. She founded STAT-UP Statistical Consulting & Data Science GmbH in 2003, has worked with Nobel Prize winner Kary Mullis, among others, and advises renowned companies, scientific institutions and the public sector.
Katharina Schüller conducts research on data literacy, data ethics and data culture. As a board member of the German Statistical Society, she is responsible for the topic of “Statistical Literacy” and is the author of numerous publications, including the study “A Framework for Data Literacy” and the “Data Literacy Charter” for the Stifterverband. She is a member of various advisory boards in business and politics and chairs the supervisory board of the Institut für wissenschaftliche Weiterbildung at the FernUniversität in Hagen.
