Short Biography

Joshua Kubach began his medical studies in 2015 with the intention to become a neurosurgeon. He coded as a hobby and met Samir Jabari in his anatomical studies. With the founding of the “deep learning morphology” work group he could combine the areas of coding and neurology to one project for his doctoral thesis. The intention is to bring the seemless integration of machine learning into the day-to-day life of physicians and to remove the black-box-feeling for deep-learning algorithms.
