Dr. Jan-Rainer Lahmann is a Distinguished Engineer in the Quantum Computing Team at IBM in Germany. Since receiving his PhD in Mathematics and Fluid Mechanics from KIT Karlsruhe in 1999, he has held various technical sales support positions at IBM – incl. Linux, Mainframes, Big Data, until entering the fascinating world of Quantum Computing in 2018. Dr.Lahmann is IBM Quantum Ambassador, Qiskit Advocate and member of the IBM Academy of Technology.
