Dr. Alec N. Sproten is the speaker for the session “How Difficult can it be to Forecast Demand at Breuninger?”. Since 2020, he is heading the Data Sciences of E. Breuninger GmbH & Co. Prior to that, he helped German Enterprises and large SMBs in the data-driven transformation of their After-Sales with a focus on algorithmic pricing. Dr. Sproten is a psychologist (U. Liège) and holds a Ph.D. in Economics (U. Heidelberg). His Ph.D. was followed by a position as assistant professor for economic theory (U. Erlangen-Nuremberg) where he taught and researched mainly topics of new media, tax compliance and social norms.
