How can I participate at the DATA festival #online?
You can register here free of charge. You will then receive a confirmation mail. You will receive the link to the event platform one day before the event and on the morning of the event.
Is the participation free of charge?
The 2-day-ticket for the event is free of charge. You will have access to the On-Demand-Platform and the recordings of all sessions of the event until February 2021. You also have the possibility to purchase a Premium Ticket for 299,00 Euro. It includes additional services such as valuable content from our partners, an expert talk and a roundtable to talk to the speakers and experts in a closed online room.
Please note that we check the registrations for your eligibility and reserve the right to cancel them and refuse participation if necessary.
How do I get access to the Event Platform?
You will receive your dial-in link one day before the event and on the morning of the event. This link will take you to the live program on September 15th and 16th.
What are the technical requirements to participate?
All you need is your latest version of your internet browser and the audio output of your device. Please make sure that you have a stable Internet access with sufficient bandwidth.
According to our experience, Google Chrome and Firefox work very well to ensure a smooth participation in the event. The participation via Internet Explorer / Edge has proved to be problematic for some participants.
If you want to, you can do a short system check. Visit this website and click on “Click here to test your system if it meets the minimum requirements” to do the check. In case you have any problems, feel free to contact us.
Do I need to install an app or program to participate?
No, we recommend a browser-based participation via your PC or laptop.
I cannot attend the event all the time. Can I dial in more than once?
Yes, you can easily use your registration link multiple times.
Can I ask questions or interact with the speakers and participants?
The Q&A function of the tool allows you to interact with the speakers.
Can I interact with the partners of the event?
Yes, for this purpose you can use the Q&A function during the live sessions or you can visit the virtual booth of our partners throughout the event.
Do I need to register for each presentation?
No, you can flexibly select the program items you are interested in.
Can I forward my dial-in link to interested colleagues?
Unfortunately not. Every person interested has to register individually and receives an individual dial-in link. In this way, we ensure that all participants have access to the platform after the event.
Will there be coffee breaks and a lunch break?
Yes, we will have two coffee breaks and a lunch break on both days.
Will there be a video transmission of the participants?
No, participants are not transmitted via video.
In which language will the event take place?
The event will take place in English.
