This presentation is about the development of an Enterprise Data Marketplace at Generali Insurance. The business benefits for advanced analytics and other data consumers on such a platform in the insurance industry will be highlighted, the approach of the data marketplace will be explained and insights into the technical architecture of the analytics platform will be provided.

After studying mathematics, Ingo entered the field of BI and, as a project manager, set up one of the largest DWHs in Germany for a telecommunications company. Then he went to the banking sector, where he promoted relevant topics as an IT consultant, project manager, architect or data manager. He has now been working at Generali Deutschland AG for 10 years and there he is the Senior Expert for Data & Analytics. Ingo looks forward to sharing his experiences.

After studying business information systems at the University of Münster, Lukas joined saracus consulting and started his career in the field of data analytics and data platforms. Since then, he has supported many companies in designing and building data platforms both on-premises and in cloud environments. Since 2023, he is a Managing Director at saracus consulting and, as a member of the synvert Group, supports its development into the leading consulting group for data and analytics.
