Digital assets, such as product images and manuals, that serve e-commerce and information supply to the customer are generated in a variety of different systems at Siemens DI Digital Sales Platforms. To integrate these different sources, the Snaplogic Integration Platform was used.
Now, at the halfway point of the project, a summing-up use case analysis for collecting and packaging of digital assets using the platform was conducted to retrospect the project outcome.
The summary reflects which technical requirements for data integration and workflow orchestration have been solved with the help of the platform
Philipp is an IT project manager at Siemens AG. His environment has always been in the area of product master data, where he led several projects and services dealing with cloud-native solutions, microservices, DevOps and semantic data. In doing so, he did not miss the opportunity to work on the various solution designs and to deepen his technical know-how in the field of solution architecture and cloud engineering.
